AND it’s at our new home!! Our friends Josh and Kacie got engaged and asked to have their special day here on our property! WOW!!… OK! Let’s do it!
We had an idea they were interested by several subtle comments made before Josh proposed. So, on the evening of the big proposal, they talked to us about the possibility and heck, they wanted to come see it!!
Josh and Kacie were visiting us this September, while we were still living on our boat, when we took them for a ride by the new house. We did not own the house yet but we were pretty excited to show them our future digs. They loved it too!
Since they’d only seen the place from the driveway while sitting in the back seat of Ben’s truck, a visit to Door County was imminent. On our drive back home from celebrating Christmas with Ben’s family in Illinois, Josh and Kacie joined us! How fun! They were able to spend two days checking out the property and we toured Egg Harbor a bit. Planning is already underway and Ben and I are going to have a wedding on our property! I can’t believe it!
We couldn’t be more excited for our friends and the wonderful future they will have together.
